The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Federal tax regulations require us to inform you that contributions, gifts or dues payments to the Washington Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi are not deductible as charitable contributions.

* A note on the term "membership". It is our belief that all Sigma Chis are members of our alumni chapter. Whether they are active dues paying brothers or not. While we appreciate and need your dues in order to help out local undergraduate chapters directly and through subsidies of events, paying dues is not a requirement to participate in our chapter. Most events are planned so that each brother pays individually for that specific event. However, one exception as noted above. If you desire to receive the chapter's newsletter through the postal mail vice email, we must limit that service to dues paying brothers only in order to cover the costs of printing, copying, and postal fees.
